Throughout my life, I struggled with the belief that I was not good enough. It was hard to see and feel positivity when I was constantly criticized and critiqued for how I looked, how I talked, and for any difference I had from the "norm."
When I was younger, I was bullied and was told by numerous people that I would not amount to anything. I grew up with a negative attitude but deep inside yearned for others to provide comfort and a sense of self-worth. I was not happy and did not understand why things were, "always happening to me." My Self-Love journey began in 2014 when I made a conscious choice to heal. The importance of this journey became true for me once again when I lost my Father unexpectedly in 2019 and had made a difficult but necessary decision to befriend my grief. During the heaviest parts of my grief, I had severe depression. I dug deep and unlocked the doors that have been chained for years to protect me from the pain. There were two choices, sit in the emptiness or recreate my life. I had to release any expectation(s) of how long this process would take and what would unfold. In hindsight, it was the best decision that I had made for my life.
I am thankful for the help from my Coaches and Therapist who were the guides to my internal discovery and helped me to recognize that everything I needed already existed within me. I now feel inner peace, which helps me to be my authentic self in any moment.
Professional Experience
I have worked in the Nursing Profession for almost 20 years. I started as a Registered Nurse working in the hospital taking care of patients at the bedside, then became a Clinical Instructor teaching students how to provide responsible and safe care to those in need. I knew I wanted to learn more and went back to school and became a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
The journey did not stop there. I became a Board-Certified Integrative Nurse Coach and spiritually, I am certified in Angelic Reiki. Currently, I am in the process of learning more about Functional Medicine to further expand my skills of providing a holistic approach. Fun Facts

“Nurse Coaching is grounded in the principles and core values of professional nursing. Nurse Coaches speak both the language of Medicine and Healing.” - International Nurse Coach Association
Healing is not just physical, it also includes the mental, emotional, and spiritual states of being. All of these components equally encompass health and the key is finding a balance.
As a Nurse Practitioner who actively practices in Western Medicine, I believe in an approach that simultaneously focuses on the present symptoms and all of the experiences of the person.
